Join SkuleTM Patrol!
SkuleTM Patrol is comprised of SkuleTM Patrollers (general volunteers) and Head Patrollers and Head Patroller Execs, with the Co-Directors overseeing all patrollers. SkuleTM Patrol is currently recruiting SkuleTM Patrollers for F!rosh Week and for the 2T6-2T7 year, as well as Head Patrollers to oversee F!rosh groups and serve in exec positions for the 2T6-2T7 year. All patrollers must have a valid Standard First Aid (SFA) with CPR-C certification or higher to patrol, which you can get through an external organization, or through a course that SkuleTM Patrol has set up!
SkuleTM Patrollers
SkuleTM Patrollers patrol in F!rosh groups (1-2 per group), at all F!rosh Week events, and at events hosted by various other SkuleTM entities throughout the year. When you sign up to be a SkuleTM Patroller, there are three main types of patrollers you can sign up to be, depending on what you would like to get involved with in SkuleTM Patrol! They are F!rosh Week Group SkuleTM Patroller, F!rosh Week Event SkuleTM Patroller, and General SkuleTM Patroller throughout the year.
F!rosh Week Group SkuleTM Patrollers
F!rosh Week Group SkuleTM Patrollers patrol with one of the twenty F!rosh groups for the duration of the day on the Monday and Tuesday or F!rosh Week (August 31 and September 1, 2026). They are basically designated leedurs dedicated to safety! As a F!rosh Week Group SkuleTM Patroller, you will accompany your F!rosh group in all of their activities and have a front facing role welcoming new students to UofT Engineering! All F!rosh Week Group SkuleTM Patrollers must complete mandatory F!rosh Leedur Training in addition to having a valid SFA with CPR-C or higher.
F!rosh Week Event SkuleTM Patroller
F!rosh Week Event SkuleTM Patrollers patrol at specific events during F!rosh Week (August 31 – September 4, 2026). These can either be events during the day, such as Build Battle and F!rosh Games, or events in the evening (after 6pm) such as SkuleTM Hunt and Nitelife. This role is more flexible depending on which events you are available for, but still allows you to patrol in F!rosh Week and welcome new students to UofT Engineering! All F!rosh Week Event SkuleTM Patrollers must complete mandatory F!rosh Leedur Training and usually event-specific training, in addition to having a valid SFA with CPR-C or higher.
General SkuleTM Patroller
General SkuleTM Patrollers volunteer to patrol at various SkuleTM events throughout the year, which can include F!rosh Week, Godiva Week, and other events that have requested SkuleTM Patrollers such as those hosted by Hi-Skule, the Blue and Gold Committee, and the Toike Oike. General SkuleTM Patrollers have SkuleTM Patrol specific training, along with a valid SFA with CPR-C or higher.
Head Patrollers
Head Patrollers are more senior patrollers in the SkuleTM Patrol structure and carry extra supplies while patrolling. They are the point of contact between the Co-Directors and SkuleTM Patrollers and may also have exec roles within Skule Patrol. They have a valid SFA with CPR-C or higher certification, and Head Patroller-specific training. Currently, SkuleTM Patrol is hiring Head Patrollers for F!rosh Week, who will oversee 2-3 F!rosh groups and connect those groups SkuleTM Patrollers to the Co-Directors, and Head Patrollers who, in addition to F!rosh Week duties, will serve as execs in SkuleTM Patrol throughout the 2T6-2T7 year.
F!rosh Week Head Patroller
F!rosh Week Head Patrollers oversee 2-3 of the twenty F!rosh groups for the duration of the day on the Monday and Tuesday of F!rosh Week (August 31 and September 1, 2026) and will also oversee safety and write risk assessments for 1-2 F!rosh Week events happening throughout the week (August 31 – September 4, 2026) such as Retreat, D!ye, and Downtown Walkaround. F!rosh Week Head Patrollers must complete F!rosh Week Leedur Training, in addition to SkuleTM Patrol Head Patroller Training and have a valid SFA with CPR-C or higher.
Exec Head Patroller
Exec Head Patrollers have the same duties as F!rosh Week Head Patrollers and also serve an executive role within Skule Patrol during the 2T6-2T7 year. These roles include inventory, finance, training, social media, and website development for the site your are on now! Exec Head Patrollers also must complete F!rosh Week Leedur Training, in addition to SkuleTM Patrol Head Patroller Training and have a valid SFA with CPR-C or higher.
